# SourceOrrery > SourceOrrery is a local-first secrets platform: an encrypted SQLite vault, a CLI and metadata-only terminal browser, read-only application SDKs, and connections to HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager and Azure Key Vault. Use the CLI to create vaults and set secret values. Application SDKs read existing vaults directly; they do not require a CLI process alongside the application. A local vault is required even when providers hold every secret value. Setup option 1 is the manual CLI workflow. Option 2 is an AI coding agent using the SourceOrrery skills. Agents configure projects without seeing values, recovery keys or view-check credentials. Skills support twelve coding agents; SDKs cover Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Rust, Java, .NET, Go, C, C++ and PHP. The references below are clean Markdown generated from the same sources as the website. The full-text file combines the essential references in this index. Installation choices are maintained on the CLI installation page linked from the overview. Release availability follows the installation guide and release status in the individual references.
